Strategy Tailored For You

About Us

Based in Grafton, PlanBiz offers professional financial planning services that many would think only available in capital cities.

Since commencement in 2005, PlanBiz has built a reputation on delivering personalised financial advice backed by the support of its licensee; Charter Financial Planning.

Financial Planning is about taking the guesswork out of achieving your financial goals, giving you more certainty for the future. We understand that you want to learn more about the method, have a mutual understanding of the relationship with your financial planner, and have more certainty of your outcomes.

By using modern financial planning techniques, listening to our clients and integrating sophisticated software systems we are able to meet these needs. The PlanBiz approach to financial planning has been recognised nationally when we earned the Asset Innovation Award for 2009 (an arm of the Financial Review publication). This award recognised the innovative steps we have taken to ensure you benefit from the PlanBiz financial planning experience, and we have since provided council to other financial planning practices around Australia as to how they can improve their financial planning processes. So we’re not only helping you, we are helping other financial planners to become better financial planners.

PlanBiz also provides financial planning services to other financial planners. When you seek advice from a financial planner a statement of advice is prepared. At PlanBiz, because of our technological innovations and experience, we are able to prepare statements of advice for other financial planners improving efficiencies in their businesses.

Our experiences with both Julie and David have been very positive. They understand our circumstances and have planned and adjusted those plans with our changing situations. They are well informed of trends and issues in the financial world and provide clear, sensible advice that is good on a personal and financial level.

Dennis & Fran Kelly

We recently retired from full time employment and after a long working life the spectre of retirement was naturally viewed with some trepidation and uncertainty. However, two meetings with David to finalise our financial plan for the future put our minds at rest, alleviated our concerns and guided us with confidence down the path to retirement.

The transition to retirement has represented a major change to our lives and we are grateful to David & Julie for their efforts in ensuring the maximum result for us and for their assistance and guidance in ensuring that the path to an enjoyable retirement became a stress free process.
